Apple Notes exports markdown with duplicate lines and paragraphs everywhere.

Apple Notes Cleaner removes all duplicates!

By default it also converts every note into a text file, but you can keep them in markdown if you want.

Why does this happen?

When exporting folders of notes from Apple Notes, you only get two options: PDF (useless for editing) and Markdown (editable — but with a catch).

When you export as Markdown, Notes randomly duplicates lines and entire paragraphs. Nobody knows why Apple does this. It's been a problem for years. Your beautifully written notes come out looking like this:

Calmly use Notes Cleaner and carry on.

Notes Cleaner removes consecutive duplicate lines and repeated paragraph blocks — leaving your content intact and your sanity preserved.
